§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for Transport (1) which boroughs are in consultation with him in agreeing guidance for traffic management matters including cycling, safety, pedestrians, signals and bus priority measures in London; and when this guidance will be available;
(2) which boroughs gave him a view on the proposed extension to London's trunk road network; and which boroughs have expressed agreement with the proposals;
(3) which London boroughs gave him a view on the proposed designated road network; and which boroughs have expressed agreement with the proposals.
§ Mrs. ChalkerWe have issued consultation papers to all boroughs and received views and reactions from them all. A majority are in favour of the approach proposed. We will continue to develop our proposals on the matters referred to by the hon. Member in close consultation with all boroughs willing to participate.
