asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he has any proposals to establish new political structures to improve relationships between Britain, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Effective structures already exist through the Anglo-Irish Intergovernmental Council, and the Government are always ready to consider realistic proposals for improving relations between the United Kingdom and the Republic.
