asked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he will meet representatives of the voluntary sector to discuss the operation of Manpower Services Commission special programmes.

The Government recognise the important contribution the voluntary sector makes to the success of a number of the measures operated by the Manpower Services Commission. I have had no recent requests for a meeting but I would certainly consider seeing representatives of the voluntary sector if they wished to discuss any particular issues.
