Mr. Thurnham

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many employees are estimated to be receiving Christmas tips; and (a) what extra revenue is expected to be raised during 1984–85 as a result of increased attention by the Inland Revenue to assessing these benefits and (b) what are the estimated extra administrative costs involved in collecting the tax involved.
