Grant Period Purpose £9,500 for each of 3 years October 1980 to September 1983 To support a solicitor in providing advice to children, parents and professionals on children's matters which come within this Department's responsibilities. £1,000 (capital grant) 1980 A contribution, arising from the appointment of a solicitor, towards the cost of office equipment. £30,000 for each of 3 years October 1983 to September 1986 To support an advice/information service to children, parents and professionals on children's matters which come within this Department's responsibilities; the grant was not available for other areas of CLC's work, such as Childright. £2,000 (one-off grant) March 1984 A contribution towards an analysis of a research project on reviews of children in care.
