§ Mr. Donald Stewartasked the Secretary of State for Defence how many air misses have been recorded in the airspace over and adjacent to the Western Isles in each year since 1970; and if he will provide a breakdown of these figures into air misses between (a) two civil aircraft and (b) two military aircraft and (c) a civil and a military aircraft.
§ Mr. LeeThere has been a total of five, each involving one civil and one military aircraft. They occurred in the years 1973, 1974, 1976, 1980 and 1982.
