§ Mr. FletcherIn formulating our policy in what regime should succeed the current multi-fibre arrangement, the Government will take full account of the level of and trends in employment in the textile and clothing industries, bearing in mind the likely causes of such trends. The possible effects on the regional distribution of employment of a particular import policy regime will also be taken into account.
