Mr. Nellist

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if, pursuant to the answers to the hon. Member for Coventry South-East, on 26 February, he will give the total housing stock, and the percentages represented by the answers of 26 February, for Coventry, West Midlands and nationally.

The percentages of the dwelling stock which were defective at 1 April 1984, are given in the following table and are based on the total stock estimate for Coventry provided in the authority's housing investment programme return and on the estimates made by the Department for the region and for England.
