asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if his Department is continuing the special monitoring of imports of cotton velvet from Turkey which was in force during 1984.

Yes, the special monitoring of imports of cotton velvet from Turkey is continuing.

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will publish in the Official Report a table showing United Kingdom imports of cotton velvet under heading 58.04 6900, and the average import price per square metre in each month of 1984 for which figures are so far available.
