§ Mr. Gordon Brownasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list for Fife and each region of Scotland and Britain the number of youth training scheme places authorised for 1984–85, the numbers available and the proportion of available places of those authorised.
§ Mr. Allan Stewart[pursuant to his reply, 11 June 1985, c. 423]: Information in the form requested could be produced only at disproportionate cost. In particular, the computerised management information for the youth training scheme does not provide details of the number of available places. The table gives the number of YTS places planned and approved in 1984–85 for each local authority region in Scotland and each Manpower Services Commission administrative region in Britain.
