§ Mr. BiffenYes. Final sketch plans for phase 1 of the new parliamentary building have been developed by the design team in accordance with the design brief given to the architects in the Services Committee's Third Report of 1983–84. These plans are now under consideration by the Services Committee's New Building Sub-Committee.
§ 37. Mr. Boyesasked the Lord Privy Seal what recent representations he has received from hon. and right hon. Members about the relative amounts of office space available to hon. Members in various parts of the House of Commons and its outbuildings.
§ Mr. BiffenThe subject of Members' accommodation has been raised with me by hon. Members on a number of recent occasions.
