§ Mr. Batisteasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what differing requirements there are in respect of (a) internal security,(b) perimeter security, 136W (c) recreational facilities and (d) staffing levels, between a remand centre for young offenders and a category C adult prison.
§ Mr. MellorIn general, a category C adult training prison requires a somewhat lower level of security, more recreational facilities and fewer staff than does a young offender remand centre.
