HC Deb 18 June 1985 vol 81 cc103-4W
19. Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what consideration has been given by his Department to implementing those parts of the Attenborough report on the arts and disabled people which are his departmental responsibility; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Newton

I received a copy of the committee's published report on 28 May and attended its launch in London on 29 May. The report contains a number of wide-ranging recommendations on this interesting and important topic. We will be giving careful consideration to those which are relevant to this Department's responsibilities.
