§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeWe ask regional health authorities to include in their short-term programmes plans for cost improvement in the form of summaries of district proposals—we do not require them to submit detailed information on individual district proposals. For 1934–85 regions' proposed cost improvements totalled around £100 million. They will be reporting to us by the end of June on whether their proposals have been achieved.
