Mr. Hancock

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many places are currently available at skillcentres in Hampshire; if he can give figures for each; how many vacancies there are at present in skillcenties; and how many people have passed through the skillcentres in each of the past three years, giving individual numbers for each.

For each of the skillcentres in Hampshire the following tables show:

(a) for April 1985 the number of training places made available and the average number of trainees in the centre;

(b) the number of adults who began a course of training in 1982–83, 1983–84 and 1984–85.
