§ Mr. Bill Walkerasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether any public funds, time of public servants, or other public resources have been or are involved in the arrangements for a special holiday package deal at concessionary rates negotiated on behalf of its staff by the Scottish Development Agency with a leisure club in Glasgow.
§ Mr. Allan StewartThe Scottish Development Agency staff club has arranged with the Holiday Inn Hotel, Glasgow for corporate membership of the hotel's leisure club for agency staff. There are no arrangements whatsoever for any holiday package deal. I am assured by the agency that the scheme is completely financed by staff contribution and that no public resources are involved.
