§ Mr. MooreAt the beginning of June 1985, 749 applications for clearance under schedule 18 to the Finance Act 1980 had been received by the Inland Revenue, of which 117 were subsequently withdrawn on the applicants' own initiative and another 22 are still being considered. Of the 610 applications which have been settled, clearance has been given to 505 (82 per cent).
