§ Mr. Meadowcroftasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he plans to introduce a complaints system for service hospitals similar to that proposed for National Health Service hospitals in the Hospital Complaints Procedure Bill.
§ Mr. LeeProcedures already exist at the Service hospitals under which Service and Civilian patients may make complaints. We believe the procedures operate satisfactorily but will be reviewed in the light of any procedureal changes introduced into National Health Service hospitals as a consequence of the Hospital Complaints Procedure Bill.
