§ Mr. ChannonI am satisfied that the Highlands and Islands of Scotland have a great deal to offer markets overseas. The region makes a significant contribution to the United Kingdom's export performance, through its exports of the wide range of goods produced in the area, including Scotch whisky, Harris tweed, high quality textiles and knitwear, craft goods, electronics and engineering and food products.
