§ Mr. Soamesasked the Attorney-General if the Director of Public Prosecutions (1) will delay any decision on whether or not to take proceedings in the case of allegations of ballot rigging in the Transport and General Workers Union in Bristol, until after voting has finished in the second ballot for general secretary;
(2) if he has yet received the report of the inquiry into allegations of ballot rigging in the Transport and General Workers Union in Bristol, being conducted by the chief constable of Avon and Somerset constabulary.
§ The Attorney-GeneralThe Director of Public Prosecutions has not as yet received the final police report into these allegations. That report will be considered by the director when it is received in the usual way.
