HC Deb 03 June 1985 vol 80 c95W
Mr. Tom

Cox asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what was the total amount of money received in payment for health service treatment by overseas visitors to the United Kingdom in 1984.

Mr. Kenneth Clarke

The latest available information is on an income basis, rather than cash received, and relates to the financial year 1983–84, in which income in the United Kingdom from patients resident overseas was just under £2 million.
