Imports and Exports

Mr. Ralph Howell

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will show (a) total imports and (b) total exports of (i) cereals and cereal preparations, (ii) all agricultural products, (iii) all other imports and exports, (iv) motor vehicles, (v) electrical goods, (vi) steel and (vii) coal for 1979 and 1984; and if he will, in each case, show the difference between (a) and (b) in actual and percentage terms.
