Refunds front the European Community are in respect of the UK's net contribution to the Community Budget as a whole and cannot be attributed directly to agricultural expenditure. Figures are for gross agricultural spending.

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list in the Official Report, for 1984, 1985 and estimates for 1986, in thousand million European currency units (a) total spending by the European Communities, (b) total spending by each Community institution, (c) the main policy categories for expenditure by the European Commission and (d) the total of own resources and resources raised by loans from the member states.
