Equivalent figures for each of the years 1979 to 1983 were given in my replies to the hon. Member for Burnley (Mr. Pike) on 2 March 1984, at columns386–90, to the hon. Member herself on 11 June 1984, at columns 378–82, and to my hon. Friend the Member for York (Mr. Gregory) on 15 June 1984 at columns 586–94.
