§ Mrs. Currieasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the level of spending below which local authorities will be exempt from selective rate limitation for 1986–87.
§ Mr. Patrick Jenkin[pursuant to his reply, 17 June 1985, c. 22]: I have now announced the list of the 12 authorities designated for selective rate limitation in 1986–87 and the expenditure levels I have set for them.
It is open to these authorities to seek a redetermination of their expenditure level if they consider the amounts determined are inadequate. I will pay particular attention to the question of funding for voluntary bodies.
