In 1984, 542 adults and 202 young persons were placed in employment through the Jobmarket in Armagh city or its sub-office in Keady, and 680 adults and 246 young persons were placed in employment through the Jobmarket in Newry town or its sub-offices in Crossmaglen, Forkhill, Newtownhamilton and Warrenpoint.
