§ Mr. Blairasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list all those privatised enterprises in which the Government are entitled to appoint directors; if he will give the names and terms of office of those so appointed; if he will indicate the occasions on which those Government directors have conferred with Her Majesty's Government in their capacity as Government directors; if he will place copies of their job descriptions, terms of reference and letters of appointment in the Library; and what part these directors play, where appropriate, in ensuring that the safeguards enshrined in golden shares are being, and will prospectively be, adhered to.
