§ Mr. Ashdownasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) if he will publish a list showing, for each port in Somerset, Devon and Cornwall (a) the number of Customs and Excise staff directly employed on customs duties and (b) the number of boats available for their use;
(2) if he will describe the nature and scope of 24-hour coverage of ports in Somerset, Devon and Cornwall by Customs and Excise staff; and if he will make a statement.
