HC Deb 26 July 1985 vol 83 cc900-1W
Mr. Tim Smith

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects to announce his decision on the Buckinghamshire structure plan, proposed alterations number 1, 1981.

Mr. Macfarlane

The Secretary of State has today sent to Buckinghamshire county council the report of the panel that conducted an examination in public on the proposed alterations, together with details of my proposed modifications and the reasons for them. These will be published and the statutory six weeks period allowed for objections to the proposed modifications. Because of the summer holiday period, however, any objections received up to 1 October will be considered. All objections made before then will be carefully considered before he issues his final decision on the alterations.
