(2) what guidance is given to the industrial air pollution inspectorate concerning the disclosure of information to the public following the investigation of alleged noxious emissions.
§ Mr. Peter BottomleyThe general requirements for, and restrictions on, the disclosure of information obtained by factory inspectors are contained in section 28 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974. It is the factory inspectorate's practice to disclose as much information as possible to the public on specific investigations.
