§ Mr. ButlerIt has been the practice of successive Governments not to publish detailed figures of our defence purchases from individual countries, nor does the United States Government publish equivalent figures for their purchases from the United Kingdom; but the current balance of defence trade between the United States and the Kingdom is in the order of 2:1.
