§ Mr. Ashleyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) whether it is the practice for members of the Committee on Safety of Medicines to declare an interest when the committee is discussing a drug manufactured by a company with which a member has had a financial relationship, and to abstain from the discussion;
(2) if he will provide a list of the members of the Committee on Safety of Medicines and the names of the drug companies with which they have had a financial relationship and the nature of the relationship.
