§ Sir Geoffrey HoweVice-President Bush visited London from 2 to 3 July. His purpose was to discuss follow-up to the Bonn Economic Summit and the Lisbon meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers, as well as action to combat international terrorism. His meeting with my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister, which I attended, concentrated on the terrorism issue and led to the joint communique which was issued after the meeting.
