§ Sir George YoungAs I indicated in my written answer to the hon. Member for Newham, North-West (Mr. Banks) on 23 November 1984, at column 315, the London Residuary Body will assume the GLC's liabilities under existing town development agreements. The GL.C's tenancy nomination rights under those agreements will be transferred to the Secretary of State. It is his intention to exercise those nomination rights through the National Mobility Steering Committee. Any other GLC rights under the town development agreements will pass to the London Residuary Body.
