§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what action he has taken on the letter from the hon. Member for Linlithgow to the Minister of State of last week, making suggestions as to individuals who ought to be interviewed in relation to the murder of Hilda Murrell.
§ Mr. Giles ShawThe information contained in the hon. Member's letter of 8 July was passed to West Mercia police on 15 July for such action as the chief constable considered appropriate in his continuing investigation into Miss Murrell's death. I understand that the individuals concerned have been interviewed but that no information has been forthcoming to assist West Mercia's inquiry.
