The most recent survey carried out by the Department identified some 2,250 lorry controls that had been introduced by local authorities on amenity grounds. A list of schemes entitled "List of Lorry Control Schemes Made on Amenity Grounds" is in the Library, and I am putting a supplementary list in the Library in respect of the 143 schemes in operation in 1983 in Greater London.
