asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he has received regarding grant levels for local authority improvement for sale schemes.

Two local authorities have requested an increase in the limit for Exchequer contributions towards local authority improvement for sale schemes. This issue was also raised by the Association of District Councils at the meeting of the Housing Consultative Council on 10 June.
