§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Defence how many representations he has received expressing concern about the cause of the sinking of the vessel MFV Mhari L; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. StanleyMinistry of Defence Ministers have received two telephone calls from hon. Members and seven letters (five of them from hon. Members) in connection with the MFV Mhari L. As well as expressing concern about the loss of the vessel, these representations have also included thanks for the assistance which the Royal Navy provided to the Department of Transport investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
