§ Mr. Greg Knightasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what representations he has received about alleged anti-competitive practices by broadcasting organisations in relation to restrictions placed by them on the publication of programme schedules in newspapers and magazines other than those sponsored by those broadcasting organisations; when he expects to receive the report of the Monopolies and Mergers Commission on this matter; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. FletcherI have received no representations since the matter was referred to the Monopolies and Mergers Commission. The commission is required to report on the reference by 28 July.
