§ Mr. Lathamasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if there are any members of the joint Jordanian-Palestinian delegation which was received by the Italian and French Governments in June whom Her Majesty's Government would not be prepared to receive (a) at ministerial and (b) at official level as members of such a delegation visiting the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. LuceOur policy is to encourage all committed to working for peace. We maintain close and friendly contacts with the Jordanian Government. Our policy towards the PLO is well known. We look to the PLO to acknowledge Israel's right to exist and renounce violence.
