§ Mr. RifkindMy right hon. and learned Friend recently met the President of SWAPO, as he meets all the parties to the Namibia negotiations. Mr. Nujoma and he reaffirmed their support for Security Council resolution 435 and discussed how best to achieve its implementation. My right hon. and learned Friend stressed our commitment to the path of peaceful negotiation.
