[pursuant to his reply, 9 July 1985, c. 418]: This information is available only for the statutory industrial training boards which were retained in 1982. Training in those sectors of industry covered by non-statutory training arrangements is the responsibility of employers in those sectors and information is not held by the Manpower Services Commission.

The numbers of offices and training centres for 1981 and the present, for the industrial training boards which currently operate, are given in the following table:
