§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will publish in the Official Report a list of those local authorities which have, since 1 December 1983, applied for grant aid for the purpose of establishing, equipping or maintaining an emergency centre or centres pursuant to regulation 4(1)(b) of the Civil Defence (General Local Authority Functions) Regulations 1983; and in each case what was (a) the date on which the application was made, (b) the proposed location of the centre or centres, (c) the total cost of the project as indicated in the application for grant approval, (d) whether the application has been approved, (e) if the application is still awaiting approval, why it has not yet been approved; and (f) if the application was disapproved for what reason.
