§ Mr. John Mackay[pursuant to his reply, 5 July 1985]: The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries for Scotland has issued a consultation document on the future of agricultural research and development in Scotland. A similar document on the future of the advisory services will be issued at a later date. Before decisions are taken, proper consideration will be given to any responses that are received on the effect of these proposals on agricultural education in Scotland.
