§ Mrs. ChalkerMy right hon. Friend made regulations last November which require new lorries and existing heavy trailers to be fitted with antispray devices conforming to the British standard BS AU 200, by various dates starting in May this year. These regulations are a first step, and my right hon. Friend will be ready to revise them in the light of technical progress. Buses are already fitted with comprehensive wheel guards and are not included in the scope of the regulations.
