§ Mr. Teddy Taylorasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) how many member states of the European Economic Community have taken the necessary legislative or other steps to permit their respective Treasuries to make payments to the European Economic Community in terms of the undertaking of the Council on 23 April designed to enable the United Kingdom's 1985 rebate to be paid; and if he will make a statement;
(2) how many member states of the European Economic Community have now paid to the European Economic Community the sums which they were committed to pay in terms of the undertaking of the Council on 23 April designed to enable the United Kingdom's 1985 rebate to be paid; and if he will make a statement.
