§ Mr. MellorThe United Nations single convention on narcotic drugs 1961 was ratified by the United Kingdom on 2 December 1964. The Government intend to ratify the United Nations convention on psychotropic substances 1971 and we are now consulting trade and professional organisations on the changes that will be necessary to our domestic legislation before ratification can take place.
