§ 14. Mr. Raffanasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will make a statement on progress of Government measures to help the people of Delyn following the closure of the Courtaulds plant at Greenfield.
§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsDiscussions are currently taking place between my Department, the local authorities and the other agencies involved about the detailed allocation of planned resources including those I announced on 27 June. I hope that the local authorities can put forward final proposals within a very few days in order that the earliest possible start can be made.
