§ Mr. Wallerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what action is currently taken by Her Majesty's ambassador in Moscow in acknowledgement of the fact that Her Majesty's Government do not recognise the incorporation of the Baltic states into the Soviet Union de jure.
§ Mr. RifkindHer Majesty's ambassador in Moscow avoids any contact with the authorities in the Baltic states which could be taken to imply de jure recognition. The Soviet Government has been made aware of our position on a number of occasions.
