asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will list all the actual or planned reductions in public expenditure on agriculture in the United Kingdom that have been announced since May 1979, including cuts in national and EC-funded capital grants schemes, cuts in expenditure on the Agricultural Development and Advisory Service (including reductions in expenditure following the removal of prior approval for schemes eligible for grant-aid), and cuts in agricultural research and development.

Changes in the Government's expenditure plans for agriculture and actual expenditure have been set out in successive White Papers since 1979 (Cmnds. 7746, 7841, 8175, 8494, 8789, 9143 and 9428).
